5/19   Form small groups to discuss and list five laws, policies or programs the US government should enact for the “Common good” of all Americans.  Next, rank them in order and place the most important on the board.  Hold a class discussion on the topic.

          Assignment:  Essay:  Write a 3 paragraph letter to the American people of today.  Tell them what sort of country they should be creating to leave to their children and grandchildren.  Due 5/20
