Description:
Students will be exposed to the nuts and bolts of the American political system as well as several foriegn nation's political operations. Realpolitik will be the focus of this course as the students examine the influences and essential forces that drive the governmental operations presented in this class. Discussion, collaberative work, debate, research, analysis, and presentations will be the day to day components of this course. Students will be evaluated by quizzes, written assignments, tests, research presentations, and their contribution to the classroom discussions.
