What is going on in American Revolution

     In this unit we will be exploring the American Revolution and focusing on the Issues that led to the Revolution, Major Battles, and Independence. There are media and links that we will be using during the unit that you can view and print if necessary. In addition there are some student worksheets which are password protected and are intended for the use of our students only. There will be an number of assessments for this unit some students will be doing a portfolio presentation. The class will be responsible for a journal entry, as well as the traditional reading assigments, quizzes and the test. The standards that will be assessed in this unit are: 5.2.12, 5.3.12, 6.2.12,6.3.12A/D, 6.4.12, 7.1.12, 7.3.12A, 7.4.12C, 8.1.12. 8.4.12.

Theme: The Roots of Revolution
Bell ringer on page 98 – clothing for school… relate to colonies/mother country
