Enlightenment


 

What is going on in Enlightenment

     In this unit we will be examining the Enlightenment and it impact on the people and leadership in Europe at this time. We will look at the key philosophers during this time period and there contributions to society as well as how these ideas affect us today in the modern world. There are a variety of media and links that we will be using during the unit that you can view and print if necessary. Some materials are password protected and are for the use of our students only. There will be an number of assessments for this unit but there will not be a portfolio or writing assignment. The class will also be responsible for all reading and homework as well as the quizzes and the test. The standards that will be assessed in this unit are: 5.3.12K, 8.1.12. 8.4.12 A/C.
