Welcome to Mr. Heiser's Alt. Ed. page!

This page is for Mr Heisers WAHG 1 Alternative Education class. This page is meant to give students and parents alike my expectations for this course. Because this class meets only once a week students will be given weekly assignments which they are supposed to complete by the next class. This gives students one week to complete their homework assignments and take any quizzes before the start of the next class. Unless serious illness or other circumstances arise all work is expected to be completed by the next class. If work is not completed students will recieve zeros on the incomplete work. All worksheets are on-line and students have the option of reading the sheets and turning in the answered questions or printing off the sheets and turning the answered questions on the sheet. To access the materials use the links to the left. From thess links you will have access to the WAHG 1 page and the units and unit papers.

For those students and parents new to the WAHG program, all students are expected to have passed WAHG 1, 2 and 3 before graduating high school. WAHG  is a course that combines American History, World History, and Geography into one course. In WAHG 1, we will cover all of history from the earliest people up to colonization. During each unit geography will also be one of the components that students will be taught.
