What is going on in Unit 9! In this unit we will be looking at the cultures of Asia. We will be examining the conquests of Genghis Kahn and the impact that China had on its neighbors Korea and Japan. In this unit there, will be a group assignment where each group is expected to create a chapter from a book. The criteria for this assignment is very specific so use the rubric given to you in class as a guide. The rubric for this assignment is below called Book Rubric. In addition to the book assignment there will be a test on this unit. There will not be a portfolio presentation or a journal entry for this unit. Standards being assessed in this unit are: 7.1.12B, 7.3.12B, 8.1.12C, 8.1.12 B,
