The Renaissance          

What is going on in Unit 8!

     Listed below are all the days and the daily lesson plans for the unit on the Renaissance. In this unit, we will have examining the Renaissance. During the unit, the class will be doing two major projects. The first project will be A Spotlight On.. news broadcast. In this project your group will be putting together a newscast about an important issue from the Renaissance and then will perform the broadcast in class. The other project is a newspaper that looks at the Protestant Reformation in Europe. All the articles for this project will center around 1517.  The rubric for each of these projects are listed below as broadcast and newspaper, check these rubrics before starting either project. Standards being assessed in this unit are: 7.1.12. A, 7.1.12.B, 7.2.12.A, 8.1.12.B, 8.1.12.C, 8.4.12.A, 8.4.12.C, 8.4.12.D.
