Business Mathematics I is designed with emphasis on basic math skills. Upon completion of the personal skills students will solve problems concerning everyday business topics. Computers may be used to introduce certain business topics. At the conclusion of this course, the student will have improved his or her skills in the basic operations of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents. Business topics include checking accounts, net pay, fringe benefits, investments, and measuring business performance.
