Prerequisite: Algebra I, Algebra II (or currently taking at least Algebra II Level II)

   Plane Geometry is the accurate study of size and shape organized into a logical system of thought. Students discover the relationships between points, lines and planes. The students study angles, triangles, parallel, lines, perpendicular lines, polygons, circles, arcs, ratio and proportion, similarity, regular polygons and coordinate geometry using the process of deductive and inductive reasoning. Cooperative learning will take place through group board work and a portfolio will keep on each students performance. Students competency is evaluating by quizzes, chapter tests, and final exams. Students will study a basic unit on fundamental concepts of probability and statistics.
