Physics 1 taught by Robert Everly In this class, you will be introduced to a complete study of the basic concepts of physics. These include: the algebra of vectors, kinematics (the study of motion such as velocity and acceleration); Newton's Laws of Motion, momentum, force work, energy, heat, wave motion (both sound and light); and complete the course with the study of electricity and magnetism. In electricity, both static and current electricity, including A.C. and D.C. circuits will be studied. The course will prepare you for taking a physics course in college, and will be especially useful if you are interested in a career in physical science, math, electronics, or engineering. Your grade is based on: class participation, tests, labs, and homework. Prerequisite: Algebra 1 Use the links on the left to access: notes, examples, and worksheets for the course
