Math

Students should recognize mathematics as an important life skill. At the conclusion of fourth grade, the students are expected to have mastered place value to 7 places, adding and subtracting five digit numbers with regrouping, multiplication of two and three digits by two digit numbers, dividing by two digits, multistep division of whole numbers, money values, apply measuring of both customary and metric systems, use and design charts, graphs, and tables to interpret data, make predictions, and draw conclusions. Problem solving is addressed in all areas.
