Have books, homework, pencils, notebooks, and silent reading book at your desk.

Raise your hand to be recognized before speaking.

Parental support is needed and appreciated to encourage children to observe classroom rules and procedures. I try to work closely with parents to teach and manintain responsible student behavior. Through weekly communication on the student evaluation form stapled to the Friday packet, parents remain informed and actively involved in their child's education.

Classroom Consequences:

• 1st time- Warning - name in notebook
• 2nd time - five mnutes of recess
• 3rd time - 10 minutes of recess
• 4th time - 15 minutes of recess and a note sent home to parents to be signed
• 5th time - Send to Principal

I will also provide consequences for appropriate behavior. The positive will be both individual and classwide.

Individual positives are:

• Top Dog of the Week (student of the week)
• Verbal Praise
• A positive note sent home
• R.A.R.E.
• Sign the Lotto Board

The classwide positives are earned when students earn 50 stars for appropriate classroom behavior.

The classwide rewards are:

• Movie with a Treat
• Games
• Special Art
• Science Project
• Extra Recess
