In Pennsylvania History we will learn about the counties. There are 67 counties in Pennsylvania. We live in Snyder County. Our county seat is Middleburg.

We will learn about latitude and longitude lines. Latitude lines run across the map and longitude lines run from North pole to south pole.They make boxes on the map. The boxes make a gride system.

We will also travel through time focusing on events that range from William Penn to the Civil War. Mrs. Guzenski is the expert on this time period.

The Famous Pennsylvanians unit is also popular. You would be surprised how many famous people have called Pennsylvania home. Keep checking in because we will soon be studying our famous Pennsylvanians.
