The following is the curriculum covered in my science classes:

Science -Improving your knowledge of your world will be one of our goals in Science. Our major units are Life Science and Earth Science. In the Life Science unit, we will examine how plants and animals are classified, how they interact, and how they form the biomes that make up our planet. The Earth science unit deals with the concept of weather. In each unit we will be reading, listening, discussing, observing, and experimenting. As part of the Life Science unit we also do a special lesson on birds. Here we will learn to identify the most common birds found in our area and do a bird project in the spring. These projects are on display during the Related Arts Festival in March.

  In math we will be addressing those skills relevant to our PSSA tests given in the Spring.
