Math with Mrs. Ferster will begin as a review of previously learned skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
These skills will be the foundation for developing new skills in fifth grade.
The fifth grade math program will include fractions, estimation skills, problem solving strategies and skills, analyzing and interpreting data, geometry, geometric solids and transformations, units of measure and more. Students will also be utilizing a computer program, Study Island, to reinforce skills.
