CURRENT ACTIVITIES IN THE HEALTH ROOM

Regarding all medications and treatment equipment: these articles should be brought to the School Nurse for safe storage and supervised use. Please refer to the Student Handbook included in the Assignment Book sent home the first day of school (Page 16) or refer to the Medication Page on this web page for requirements for safe use of medications and treatments in school.

Hearing screening are completed on all third grade students. Students in grades 4 & 5 can have a hearing screening as well with a parent or teacher request.

Height, weight, and vision screening has been completed for all students at Selinsgrove Intermediate. New students in those grades will be screened as soon as time is available after entry. If you have special concerns about your child's vision or growth, please contact me at 372-2263 at any time of day or night and voice mail will receive your message. A few students will be rescreened and possibly referred as indicated.

Updating of health records, immunization certificates, and planning for medication and health care of the students is a priority at this time of year.
