Selinsgrove Area Intermediate School 
Education takes teamwork! That is a nice slogan, but it is more than a slogan. At Selinsgrove Area Intermediate School it is our belief. My name is Terry Heintzelman, and I am the principal.
We have all the district's grades 3-5 population housed at this building. Our student population is approximately 600. Our smallest class size is 21 and our largest class size is 25. We have eight third grades, eight fourth, and eight fifth.
Although I could continue on with more and more statistics, let me tell you what is more important. The staff at this building is excellent! They are enthusiastic, care about kids, and are constantly looking for ways to improve. Continually asking, "What's best for kids?" is the norm around here.
The other key to the success of the building, is the tremendous parental support we enjoy. Last year we had over 200 parents volunteering in the classrooms and throughout the school, helping students. The community has also supported us in a variety of ways. This is a great place for kids! I am fortunate to be able to work in this environment.
