Selinsgrove Area Middle School
All 8th grade students at Selinsgrove Middle School study Reading, Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies during Pod time. They also take Art, Music, Family and Consumer Science, Technical Education, Physical Education, Health, Spanish, Guidance, Library Research, and Computer Applications during out of pod times. They may also elect to participate in band and chorus. All 8th students are divided evenly between Team E and Team F.
In addition to the regular curriculum, students experience learning through team integrated units. A careers exploration unit and high school course selections are an integral component of the 8th grade curriculum.
