we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the
quality of our lives." -Anthony Robbins Each unit will touch on these basic four elements of communication. We will study vocabulary, sentence structure, punctuation and grammar in the writing context, poetry reading, writing and analyzing, paragraph development, multi-paragraph essay development, the five-paragraph essay, research, various types of literature, etymologies, language history, and public speaking. I look forward to working with each of you as you hone your communication skills this year. -Mrs. Hoke |
