Welcome to a new school year.  I look forward to getting to know you all.  Since I am new to the Selinsgrove School District, let me tell you a little about myself.  This will be my sixth year of teaching.  Previously, I have taught middle and high school Special Education.  I attended Bloomsburg University for my undergraduate and graduate degrees.  Along with loving teaching, I enjoy gardening, spending time with my children, and READING!  My goal for this school year is to help you develop your reading skills and hopefully pass on my enjoyment of reading to you.

This year we will be doing a variety of reading activities:

• Read at least two novels.
• Read a variety of short stories.
• Prepare for PSSA's
• Improve vocabulary and knowledge of literature.
• Use Study Island to practice PSSA problems.
• Read Accelerated Reading books.
