Sixth Grade Language Arts

 

            The language arts curriculum revolves around the Pennsylvania writing and communication standards. The focus will be on grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, complete sentences, paragraph structure, vocabulary, poetry, word origins, figurative language, speaking, and writing. Many activities will involve the development of narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive paragraphs.
