It will be very easy to prepare for health class. Many of the notes and information will be provided with vocabulary sheets or pre-made notes. Students will, however, be expected to do the following:
Have a pen or pencil for note taking
Bring a good attitude to class daily
Have all completed homework (if it was assigned for class)
**Also, if a student misses class because they were absent or because of a band/chorus lesson, it is THEIR responsibility to make up any missed work!**
Students will be graded on tests, quizzes, in-class and out-of-class projects, participation, behavior, and attitude. 6th and 8th Grade students will also receive a grade from their D.A.R.E. Classes.
There will also be opportunities for extra credit throughout the semester.
