Next Regular Monthly School Board Meeting

To be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 @ 7 p.m. in the Middle School Multi-Purpose Room (A-103).  A Technology Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, April 17th @ 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School Library.

Nominate a Teacher for the Excellence in Education Award 

Please click on this link and join us by completing the form to nominate a teacher or other education professional .

All nominations are reviewed by the Business and Education Committee. If your nominee is selected for an Excellence in Education Award, you will be contacted along with the appropriate school district personnel to arrange for a formal presentation of the Excellence in Education Award. A minimum of 8 awards will be provided throughout the academic year.

 April - Zero Tolerance

 Underage drinking and driving both carry serious consequences for those under 21. Pennsylvania┬┤s Zero Tolerance Law includes fines, license suspensions and even jail time for minors who drive impaired, consume, possess or transport alcohol, or lie about age to purchase alcohol. Adults who are convicted of knowingly and intentionally supplying minors with alcohol are also subject to fines and jail. Selinsgrove Area High School Recognized as
One of the Nation's Best.

Newsweek Magazine has recognized Selinsgrove Area High School as one of the top performing high schools in the nation for 2013. Only 2,000 high schools in the nation were identified as being the most effective at turning out college-ready graduates. This puts Selinsgrove in the top 10% in the nation and one of only 77 schools in the state of Pennsylvania to make the list. The list is made up of both public and non-public high schools as well as magnet schools.
