The 7th Grade Social Studies Classes of Mr. Heintzelman and Dr. Stiefel have been learning about Mesoamerican culture. One of the cultures that they discussed was the Olmec civilization. One unique element of the civilization was the mystery behind the Olmec Stone heads. The 7th grade classes created their own stone heads out of playdoh and then made a backstory about the head and how it influenced the Olmec society.
